Steven A. Alkana founded the B&I Consulting Group after developing USDA B & I lending at Temecula Valley Bank to national leadership as B&I Loan Program Director. In his 30 year banking and business consulting career Steve has successfully turned around a troubled bank as interim CFO, started government guaranteed lending departments, and has helped small businesses to develop and implement business planning and capitalization.

Steve is uniquely qualified to lead B&I Consulting Group with accomplishments in credit administration, business consulting, business development, USDA B&I and SBA lending, coaching and organizing. Mr. Alkana is an active national speaker at industry trade shows and banking educational seminars, discussing the benefits of, and access to, USDA B&I loans. B&I Consulting Group is an affiliate member of the Oregon Banking Association.
